A very affordable starting point.  Figures start at about $20 each and you've likely seen them at Walmart, Target, and Walgreens.  These are great intro subjects for toy photography and you can usually find a characters you're familiar with as they make 5-8 characters per wave.

My favorite brand for toy photography!  "Art" under the theme "Pushing character expression through humanoid action" is printed right on the box.  It does a lot to show their quality.

Figma are excellent figures with the most accessories.  Each comes with a stand which is good for collectors who display their collections.  They're priced around 3 times the amount for marvel legends.

The most expensive on this list however they make an impressive product.  Custom clothing for each figure, excellent articulation, and variety make these well worth the price.  They are a gem to use in action figure photography.

The National Entertainment Collectors Association.  Their collection of licenses is extensive.  If you can think of a movie let's say The Goonies or Friday the 13th then they've made a figure for that.  They scale very differently than the other brands listed here sometimes but that doesn't discount them as good subjects in action figure photography.

This is from Hasbro the same company that does the Marvel Legends.  Great articulation and very affordable price point starting at $20 each.
